Work has started on another apartment tower for residents wanting a city central address with Chinese developer Zone Q starting construction of its second Perth apartment project – Nspire 108.
Located on the high-profile corner of Aberdeen and Beaufort streets in Northbridge, the 21-storey Nspire will have a four-level podium a 16-level tower.
Construction of the 184 apartments and four ground floor tenancies is expected to finish by 2017.
Site works for the 21-level project are now under way.
The project will have 53 studio and one-bedroom apartments, 119 two-bedrooms and 12 dual key apartments.
The Northbridge project follows Zone Q’s first foray into the local market with its Pinnacle apartment tower in South Perth, due for completion in late 2016. Sixty-five per cent of the Pinnacle apartments have been sold off the plan.
Zone Q also plans for another apartment development on Mill Point Road in South Perth.
Property companies Knight Frank and Dempsey Real Estate will sell the apartments for Nspire 108.
Knight Frank director Neah Shah said Zone Q planned to bring a well-designed, affordable project to the market.
Ms Shah said Nspire would have bike storage, swimming pool, gym, a barbecue area and sky terrace with communal dining and lounge on level 20.
“Nspire 108 will be different in its look and its broad-based appeal to investors and owner-occupiers, particularly young professionals,” Ms Shah said.
Ms Shah said the location of Nspire 108 was ideal, just 500m from the Perth train station and CBD, directly opposite the Central TAFE and close to all lifestyle facilities.
She said high frequency bus routes ran straight past the front.
Zone Q project manager Andrew Wilkinson said the company was committed to making Nspire a stand-out architectural landmark as well as an ideal home for residents.
He said the project would offer a variety of form and flexibility in its apartments.
Nspire will have 184 car bays, 61 bicycle bays and high level security for residents.
